Erica Van Pelt is ready to stop judging.
26-year-old singer, who made the finals as one of the judges wild card picks, was eliminated from American Idol last night after the show that inspired Randy Jackson called it "one of the best singers in this whole thing. "
But the judge also said Van Pelt, who shocked the audience this week to cut off her blonde locks and died in their dark, move more during a speech in New York state of mind, not in singing, then, Rhode Island DJ says, confused her.
"I felt that there were many comments that contradicted week to week. First, I did not do enough, I did too much, not enough, then I am for singing," she said in a conference interview. "I felt that I could never sing and just be yourself."
But Van Pelt looks to the future. "I have big plans to tour this summer," she says, hopefully, this includes the singing of songs of his idol, pink, with whom she said she would sing in the Idol-themed competition next week.
